3.1 Homogeneity and mixing dynamics

As we saw in the previous section, one of the criteria for choosing mixers is both the mixing state to be achieved, and the way in which it can be achieved. This latter aspect is strictly a matter of mixer dynamics, and needs to be examined differently depending on whether the mixer is operating in batch or continuous mode.
