Absolute: Product obtained by extracting a concrete, resinoid or other extract with ethanol. The alcoholic solution thus obtained is then cooled to low temperature (to precipitate substances that are not very soluble in ethanol, known as waxes) and filtered. The ethanol is then removed by distillation.
