Colloid; colloïde
Substance in which the molecules or polymolecular aggregates dispersed in a suspensive medium have, in at least one direction, a dimension of approximately 1 nm to 1 µm.
Emulsion; emulsion
Thermodynamically unstable dispersion of two immiscible liquids (one phase dispersed in a continuous phase) whose destabilization kinetics can be modulated by the presence of surfactants, polymers or particles (Pickering emulsions).
Formulation; formulation
All the knowledge and operations involved in mixing, combining and shaping ingredients to obtain a product with pre-established specifications and a specific function.
