Phase equilibrium data is usually presented graphically in the form of diagrams.

An example of a three-dimensional PVT diagram is shown in Figure 1 for a pure body. Figure 2 shows another type of diagram (PTx diagram) for a binary mixture, type 3 of the Van Konynenburg and Scott classification
