1.1 Boiling point
Hydrogen has a boiling temperature of 20.4 K at 101,325 Pa; only helium has a lower boiling temperature. At this temperature, most other gases are solid (table 1 ).
This property enables hydrogen to be purified more thoroughly than other gases before liquefaction.
