INTRODUCTION
The first part of the article "Coordination catalysis" successively presented a few reminders of coordination chemistry essential for understanding catalysis mechanisms, followed by general notions concerning the elementary steps of catalysis, the role of ligands in complexes and the implementation and performance estimation of coordination catalysts. Paragraph 3 described catalytic reactions in which the substrate is not modified by the introduction of a new chemical function.
In this second part, we focus on catalytic reactions in which the substrate is modified by the introduction of a new chemical function. We cover telomerization, hydrosilylation, hydrocya-nation, carbon monoxide reactions in general (hydroformylation, carbonylation, homologation), oxidation and oxycarbonylation.
