5. Conclusion
The adsorption process is a well-known technique today. Numerous tools are available to accurately model isothermal equilibria and material transfers, both in pure substances and in mixtures. The influence of operating parameters can also be taken into account when considering the use of the adsorption technique. The future will undoubtedly see the development of new adsorbents that are even more selective, easier to regenerate and less costly. Property prediction remains a weak point in current knowledge, which will undoubtedly be corrected in future years thanks to the development of molecular modeling.
