3.1 OS technical specifications
To understand the technological risks introduced by these mobiles, it is interesting to understand how their systems work. Indeed, a significant proportion of the vulnerabilities present exploit intrinsic flaws discovered in the OS, in particular for their "unlocking". This practice enables the user to obtain root privileges on the operating system, thereby overriding the protection that limits the user's functionality. In this way, a rooted or jailbroken handset falls outside the scope of the manufacturer's intended use.
On iOS, jailbreaking allows you to break out of the "appstore" exclusivity.
