INTRODUCTION
Python is on a roll. Ranked sixth in the TIOBE index and named Language of the Year, it is now a must-have language for developers. Its multi-paradigm aspect and the clarity and expressiveness of its syntax make it the language of choice for a wide range of uses.
This document presents a brief history of Python and its fields of application. It then compares it to other languages and looks at its features and syntax. It concludes with a summary of object programming. A list of references is also available in the For further information [
