1. Bluetooth communications

Bluetooth technology (figure 1 ) enables electronic devices equipped with it to communicate with each other over short distances. It was designed to replace the need for cables between a device and its peripherals. Bluetooth now equips a large number of devices (telephones, tablets, keyboards, car radios, etc.). The range is limited to 10 or 100 m, but can be extended by the addition of specific equipment (antennas in particular). The autonomy of a device so equipped is of the order of a week.
