10. Safety incidents
The information security management system, like any other system, is subject to internal and external events that can disrupt its operation.
These events, which have an impact on information security, must be recorded as incidents or faults, and then treated accordingly.
Information security incident: one or more undesirable or unexpected information security events with a high probability of compromising the organization's business operations and threatening information security (ISO/IEC 27000, § 3.31).
