3. Results: LC effects on displacement
3.1 Journey times
Firstly, when participants wear the LC1, LC2 and LC3 without them displaying any information, journey times increase slightly but significantly for the straight and winding routes, compared with the reference journey time without LC.
On average, for all participants, this increase is :
0.15 s on the winding route, which represents an average of 2% of the reference time;
0.10 s on the straight course, which represents an average of 1% of the reference time.
On the other hand, when participants wore the LC4s without displaying any information, no significant variation in travel time was observed, whatever the configuration, visor up or visor...
