4. Conclusion
Today, 3D virtual environments are used in many fields, covering a wide range of uses from entertainment and learning to computer-aided design for industry. Although their number continues to grow every year, a recurring problem hinders their adoption and distribution. Today, it is very difficult to import data into a virtual environment other than the one for which it was created. This leads to a host of other problems, slowing down the creation of 3D virtual environments, increasing their production costs and limiting their accessibility to users.
This lack of interoperability is due not only to the diversity of 3D formats, but also to the diversity of software components used to render 3D virtual environments.
