7. Conclusion
Standardization in the field of telecommunications and information and communication technologies is a vast and currently very active area, bringing rapid technical developments to the daily lives of professionals and consumers alike. It's worth noting that, in the course of the recent transformations brought about by these technologies, the oldest standardization bodies, such as the ITU and IEC, have managed to evolve while remaining true to their traditional mission. ISO is responsible for complementary standardization contributions with ETSI, which also provides the necessary links. This evolution is mainly due to the traditional standardization bodies of the Western world, which have succeeded in associating their work with that of numerous SDOs, since Asia does not yet have regional standardization structures.
