6. MP-QUIC specific approach

6.1 MP-QUIC extensions

MP-QUIC communication (i.e. established over multiple paths) is initialized like a normal QUIC connection, except that a new parameter is negotiated between the two terminals to indicate support for communication over multiple paths: MAX_PATHS . Each terminal specifies the maximum number of paths to be used simultaneously for a QUIC connection. The value 0 is used to disable MP-QUIC.
