
9. Mobile networks
Mobile networks suffer from several problems related to the provision of value-added services in the presence of NAT and firewalls. These problems can be solved by enabling PCP. Activating PCP in mobile networks makes it possible to :
simplify the provision of services requiring inbound communications (e.g. Push Mail, instant messaging (e.g. MSN, QQ ), P2P (Peer to Peer ) applications such as BitTorrent );
prevent session hacking thanks to the ability to delete states when a new address is allocated to the mobile terminal;
