5. Technological spinoffs
The development of near-autonomous driving vehicles is opening up new horizons in several areas of robotics applied to transport and warehouse logistics. Efforts are focused on activities requiring only levels 2 or 3 of the CV performance range (table 3 ), i.e. for actions taking place in private spaces or on roads where traffic and range are well controlled. On the other hand, motorization from reliable DC sources opens up the possibility of developing drones and small, short-range aircraft. The list of these spin-offs under study or already available on the market will delight science-fiction enthusiasts.
