2. Analysis of bridge-based solutions
Here, we present the first solution, which consists of enriching the DDS routing service to implement the federated bridge.
The Federated Bridge enables DDS entities located on remote networks to be spatially decoupled, enabling existing DDS applications to be deployed seamlessly. On the one hand, it enables the interconnection of separate DDS domains located on wide area networks (Domain-Bridge ), and on the other hand, it identifies the various topics (by name, key and type) exchanged in the different data sharing spaces (GDS), acting as a topics bridge to ensure the exchange of data between different DDS applications.
