2. Resistors
Within each technology, resistors can be classified according to a number of parameters that depend on the specific needs of the user. The most common are ohmic value, tolerance, stability in storage or operation (associated with the desired precision) and dissipation.
Table 4 gives an example of the distribution of technologies according to precision.
