In our example (figure 25 ), because of the power involved, each 400 kW amplifier block needs its own power supply.
A medium-voltage feeder (11 kV, 20 kV) provides the main 330 V DC voltage source for the amplifier modules.
7.1 Main power source
At 330 V DC, this source is obtained from a medium-voltage transformer with two secondary circuits.
