7.1 Oscillators: determining the optimum temperature coefficient

Figure 16 shows a schematic diagram of an 11 GHz oscillator stabilized by a dielectric resonator.

To determine the optimum temperature coefficient, the simplest solution is to make a first assembly with a material of zero or given coefficient τ f 0 , optimizing all parameters other than temperature stability (center frequency, spectral purity, insertion losses, ripple...).
