 INTRODUCTION

The first article (E 3 964) studies the operation of single-quadrant step-down and step-up choppers, and the operation of two- and four-quadrant reversible choppers.

In this second article, we look at the current and voltage filters of these choppers, as well as switch switching and the control of two- and four-quadrant reversible choppers. This technical approach will provide the reader with all the knowledge required to build a chopper.
