6. Local voltage regulation using the reactive power of LV-connected generators under experimentation

Enedis is also examining a new LV connection solution, less mature than the other solutions presented, namely a local LV voltage regulation solution. A study of the technical and economic benefits of this solution is currently underway, as well as a trial run, with a view to considering its widespread use, where appropriate and subject to regulatory changes (it should be remembered that the decree of April 23, 2008 does not currently allow LV producers connected to the public distribution network to participate in reactive power).

A comparative study was carried out between three solutions and summarized in figure 15
