3. Techno-economic calculation applied to electrical distribution networks
To remedy a problem identified on distribution networks, there are generally several technical solutions available. However, these solutions do not necessarily require the same level of investment, and can have very different technical and economic effects over the longer or shorter term. This is why it's important to have a tool that can be used to evaluate and compare each of the solutions envisaged. This is the main objective of the technico-economic calculation applied to power networks.
Warning: in the formulations in this section, it is conventionally assumed that an investment made in a given year produces its effects in the same year, including the first year of the study. It is also assumed that an investment made in the first year of the study is subject to discounting equal to the unit
