5. Station operation

The modular indoor substation is designed to ensure maximum safety for the operator. This objective is reflected in the following provisions (some of which do not apply to compact industrialized cells).

5.1 Circulation within the structure

Traffic areas allow the movement of operating personnel in accordance with the rules specified in the interministerial decree of April 2, 1991, setting out the technical conditions to be met by electrical distribution systems. In particular, these circulation zones are designed so as not to cause accidents on the ground (change of level, etc.), nor to have protruding elements (angle irons, etc.). Each zone containing HV or MV equipment has two exits equipped with anti-panic devices, at least one of which opens onto the outside....
