7. Conclusions

Today, EDF's efforts in the field of power networks are considerable. Particular attention is paid to impact studies for 225 and 400 kV facilities, and to communication procedures that closely involve local authorities and residents in project development. With this in mind, and to enable not only the designer, but also the authorities, elected representatives, associations and the general public to better understand the visual impact of the structures, EDF is equipping itself with the most modern methodologies and tools, using digital imaging techniques in particular, which can be integrated into all phases of project design and bring interactivity to its preparation.
