6. Operation: checking, servicing, maintenance

6.1 Checking during commissioning

These checks, also known as initial inspections, consist of visual examinations, tests and measurements, to ensure that installations comply with regulations and standards.

Schematics and diagrams must be provided at the time of the initial inspection, showing in particular :

  • the nature and composition of the circuits (points of use served, number and cross-section of conductors, type of pipes);

  • type and cross-section of conductors ;

  • circuit length ;

  • the nature and type of protective devices ;

  • location, type, rated or set current of protective devices...
