2. Electromagnetic modeling
The aim of this section is to provide analytical tools for the electromagnetic pre-dimensioning of synchronous and asynchronous magnetic couplings. For a given specification, the aim is to be able to quickly define the main geometric dimensions and make a reasoned choice of materials.
For a synchronous coupling, this specification may be limited to the value of the maximum transmissible torque C max to be achieved, while respecting set objectives such as coupling mass, external dimensions or cost price.
