4. Converter design and implementation

4.1 Study support

In this section, we'll be analyzing the converter associated with its coupler for an accelerated recharging application at 20 kW output (22 kVA network, see § 1.3). In the light of our previous results, we'll opt for the series-series compensation converter, which could be fed by the rectified three-phase network, and deliver directly to the battery. The power diagram of the DC-DC section is shown in figure 22 , and the study will focus on sizing the power components (semiconductors and capacitors) and on control.
