5. Conclusion
The aim of this article was to demonstrate the advantages of the PEEC method in power electronics, and more broadly in electrical engineering, by means of several case studies. The first approach aims to generate equivalent circuits to effectively take into account the impact of connectivity on the temporal waveforms of static converters. To this end, a generic connectivity representation methodology has been presented, based on the number of I/Os. Simulation results enable the analysis of very important impacts, such as the dynamic distribution of currents between capacitors in parallel, or between semiconductor components, as well as the prediction of various overvoltages.
