1. General presentation

1.1 General

In their efforts to improve electrochemical energy sources, researchers and engineers have studied most of the elements and compositions available [11] . The search for high mass and/or volume energies is directly linked to the study and selection of active electrode materials, by choosing those that enable high mas-sic capacities as well as the lowest possible potential for anode materials and the highest possible potential for cathode materials.

Ideally, we'd take lithium, which has the most negative potential and the highest mass capacity of solid anode materials, and fluorine, which has the highest potential and the highest mass capacity of cathode materials (+ 2.87 V/ENH and 1,410.65...
