4. Magnetic noise reduction

4.1 General

As in the case of asynchronous machines [D 3 580] , there are three main ways of reducing the magnetic noise radiated by the machine right from the design phase:

  • act on the amplitude of the excitation alone (weak tooth lines, weak MLI lines, high spatial orders, etc.);
