ABSTRACT
The aim of this article is to detail the various standards of the two main types of curtain walls namely the glued exterior glazing and the attached exterior glazing. Each one has its own technical application rules which also differ according to the purpose of the curtain wall. Guides are provided on these types of curtain walls. The rules presented concern the verifications during their fabrication (tests of air, water and wind permeability), security in all its aspects (fire, smoke extraction, shocks, anti-breakage, resistance to bullets, explosion, earthquakes etc.), the various types of glazing used, acoustics, and certifications.
