INTRODUCTION
Various materials, such as bitumen or asphalt, can be used to waterproof flat roofs. These materials are often used for simple waterproofing, with no other function than to ensure the roof's impermeability.
The substrates on which these sealing materials are to be applied must be suitable for the products used. To achieve this, they must have exceptional technical construction and finishing characteristics to fulfill their waterproofing functions.
