Reinforced concrete is a material that has come into its own in recent decades, thanks to its robustness and ease of use, even for large-scale structures. Today, however, it is reaching certain limits, as the environmental aspect plays a major role in today's construction choices. Reinforced concrete probably still has a future, but it will have to find alternatives that reduce its carbon footprint.
