This diversification amplifies and broadens the scope of the beneficial impacts of green roofing: enhanced insulation and, consequently, lower energy consumption, reduced heat island temperatures in summer, CO 2 sinks, improved quality of the surrounding air, extended life of waterproofing protected from thermal shocks, rainwater regulation...
