3. Certifications for renovated homes

3.1 Patrimoine Habitat and Patrimoine Habitat & Environnement certification

Patrimoine Habitat certification recognizes the performance levels achieved following a renovation program undertaken by a project owner. Issued by Cerqual Patrimoine, it applies to multi-family residential buildings or grouped single-family homes over 10 years old. It can also be applied to social housing, migrant workers' hostels, young workers' hostels, social hotel residences, student residences and halfway houses. Project owners wishing to highlight the environmental efforts made on their properties can opt for Patrimoine Habitat & Environnement certification.
