4.1 Low arch

Data :

• bay width: l ;

• arc starting point: B ;

• bow arrow: f.

Layout :

• take the axis of the l/2 bay on which the center of the arc of circle C lies;

• trace the horizontal line passing through B which intersects the axis at D ;

• plotted on the [DA] axis = f ;

• construct the perpendicular to the midpoint of [AB] which intersects the axis at C ;

• draw the arc with radius R = [CA] (figure 12 ).
