Pool water treatment products authorized to date are presented, along with their specific storage, installation and operating features.
Prohibited products for pool water treatment :
Bromine has been banned since 2006 because it is not listed in European biocides regulations;
PHMB (polyhexamethylene biguanide) has been banned since July 2010.

A swimming pool water disinfection system using liquefied chlorine (or chlorine gas) must comply with the following provisions.
