 INTRODUCTION

A first dossier [C 112v2] dealt with the organization of public works sites. Building sites, often carried out by the same companies (known as Bâtiment et Travaux Publics or BTP companies), are organized in a similar way in many respects, so the author invites readers to refer to this initial dossier.

Here we focus on the specificities of building site organization.

More specifically aimed at those who wish to know the important aspects of building site organization, to avoid delays, extra costs and defects of all kinds, this current dossier does not, however, describe the organization of a complete building project (choice of site, choice of prime contractor, design, insurance...).
