9. Conclusion

A few lessons can be drawn from the preceding study.

For all rehabilitation work (and also for other types of work), it is essential to ensure that the work has been carried out in accordance with the specifications and standards of the profession.

In particular, make sure that :

  • the waterproofing materials used are high-performance and comply with the specifications;

  • the installation was carried out with care;

  • the water droplet at the top of the statements corresponds to the requirements of the standard;

  • the upstands adhere well to the substrate, and their height complies with the regulations;

  • head protection devices are effective.
