7.1 Advantages, disadvantages and reassessment of fees
This is a sensitive area, and opinions differ as to the application of the MOP law, but according to the author's experience and the opinions of several of his colleagues, this law should change, or at least it should include, among the missions it imposes, a chapter devoted to the BIM process.
Creating a complete digital model requires a considerable amount of work, as well as significant human and material investment. While plans must be delivered to the client, the digital model is not one of the deliverables required by law.
