10. Administration control

This control is carried out at the building permit stage, during the acceptance inspection of the ERP, before it is opened to the public, and during periodic inspections by the Safety Commission during operation. The table in article GE 4 of the June 25, 1980 safety regulations sets out the frequency of inspections according to the ERP's classification.

However, this regulatory frequency can be modified by the Mayor or the Prefect after consulting the Safety Commission.

In the case of very large and/or complex establishments that don't fit neatly into the "regulatory mold", the Safety Commissions seek the opinion of the Central Safety Commission, based at the Ministry of the Interior (Civil Security Directorate).
