2.1 Air transport and airport development guidelines

In the light of regulatory developments at EU and international level, France's action will be guided by the following principles:

  • continue to strengthen preventive security measures at airports ;

  • encourage noise reduction by tightening noise standards for new aircraft at international level, through research and development, and through appropriate operating measures at aerodromes;
