4. Simple examples of numerical applications

4.1 Preliminary remark

The following examples have been chosen to illustrate the above developments as simply as possible, with aspects relating to a simply supported T-beam, as well as to full and partial connection. They do not constitute complete examples of dimensioning as to be established in a project; among other things, checks during the construction phase (which fall more within the scope of EN 1993-1-1 than EN 1994-1-1) are not illustrated here.
