1.1 Responsibilities
In the case of Bétons à propriétés spécifiées (BPS), initial testing is the sole responsibility of the concrete producer.
In the case of Bétons à composition prescrite (BCP), initial testing is the responsibility of the specifier, provided the concrete producer can demonstrate compliance with the prescribed composition.
In the specific case of engineering concretes, a preliminary study must be carried out under the responsibility of the specifier before the start of the construction operation in question, and accepted by the concrete producer and user.
