3. Composition of architectural concrete

It must be adapted to the work to be carried out: performance, environment (durability), surface treatments envisaged.

To achieve the required performance, components must be perfectly identified. They must comply with the main standards in force.

3.1 Formulation

  • For ready-to-use concretes intended to be poured on site, concrete formulations must follow the rules set out in standard XP P 18-305.

  • For precast concrete, the Cahier des charges des éléments architecturaux en béton fabriqués en usine, published by the FIB, applies.
