4. Planned developments

Standards are constantly evolving. Some planned developments indicate that the thermal performance of residential shutters will come to the fore. For example, it is planned to extend CE marking under the Construction Products Directive to include the additional thermal resistance value ΔR (winter thermal insulation) and the solar factor value g tot (summer comfort) of the closure.
