4. Installation, assembly and maintenance
The provisions of the European standards on installation and, above all, assembly have changed radically in relation to the French standard NF P 25-362. This change is essentially induced by the application of the "Construction Products" directive, and by the fact that the standard specifies that "an installer who assembles components from different suppliers is considered to be the manufacturer" within the meaning of the European standard. Thus, an assembler, considered as a manufacturer, must meet all the requirements of the latter, particularly with regard to CE marking.

installation of a complete product, i.e. from a single supplier and without any modification to the product;
