1. Floor paints and varnishes

Floor paints and varnishes account for a large share of the total paint production for the building industry.

These products help protect floors subjected to the mechanical stresses of traffic (punching, scratching, abrasion), but also to the effects of chemical agents (acids, detergents, oils, petrols, salts, etc.) (see article Industrial floor coverings [C 3 684] ).
